REVIVE PERSON-CENTRED THERAPY
Feelings of anger, low self-esteem, work or family conflict issues? Bereavement, grief & loss, substance abuse or addiction have you spiralling?
Please, deep breaths. I provide a tailored journey combining therapeutic principles to create lasting change, build self-confidence, improve relationships, and gain a better understanding of oneself.
REVIVE PERSON-CENTRED THERAPY
My approach is rooted in person-centred counselling, developed by Carl Rogers.
This approach is based on the belief that every person has an innate capacity for growth and healing when offered a safe, accepting environment.
Many emotional struggles stem from earlier experiences — particularly within relationships — where we may not have felt fully seen, heard, or safe. Over time, this can impact self-esteem, attachment patterns, and the way we relate to ourselves and others. Person-centred counselling offers something deeply reparative: a consistent, non-judgemental relationship where you are accepted exactly as you are.
How this supports trauma and attachment healing
When trauma or relational wounds are present, feeling safe is essential. In our sessions:
- You are never rushed to share more than feels comfortable
- We move at a pace that respects your nervous system
- Difficult experiences are approached gently and with care
- Your emotions are met with empathy, not judgement
- Patterns in relationships can be explored safely
Over time, experiencing a steady, compassionate therapeutic relationship can help reshape how you view yourself and others. Many clients begin to feel more secure, more self-compassionate, and more confident in their relationships.
This approach is not about quick fixes or surface coping strategies. It is about deeper understanding, emotional processing, and meaningful change.
At its heart, person-centred counselling is about being truly heard, understood, and valued — and from that foundation, growth naturally unfolds.
